Wilfred Joseph Lamoureux, Jr, age 65, passed away January 8, 2025, at his home in Vergennes.
Wilfred was born in Middlebury on August 9, 1959. He was the son of Wilfred and Janet (Austin) Lamoureux, Sr. He grew up on the family farm in Shoreham, working with his family in his earlier years. He received his education in Shoreham and Middlebury Schools. He joined the United States Army and served in Germany. Following his Honorable Discharge, he returned home and began his working career as a carpenter. Unfortunately, he was forced to retire due to a disability in 2010. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his son; Adam Lamoureux and a daughter; Courtney Arnold, his father; Wilfred Lamoureux, Sr, one brother; John David Lamoureux, 4 sisters; Darcy Lamoureux, Dawn Angier, Connie Bilodeau and Julie Whittemore. 3 grandchildren; Olivia, Gabriel, and Caleb. Several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him.
