SUDBURY:
Thomas Edward Cook, age 71, passed peacefully, with family by his side, on May 6, 2025, at his home in Sudbury.
Tom was born in Middlebury on October 25, 1953. He was the son of Robert and Yvette (Pominville) Cook. He grew up in Sudbury and graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1971. He began his working career at the Brandon Grand Union, and later driving truck with the Vermont State Highway Department. He closed out his working career as a heavy equipment operator for Carter Trucking in Pittsford. He enjoyed trapping and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving is his brother; Raymond Cook & his wife Eileen, of Sudbury and 2 sisters; Joanne Keith and Elaine Cook both of Pittsford. Several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother David and a sister, Patricia Walton.
A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon.
