Samantha Gibbs West, age 49, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at her home in Benson.

Ms; West was born in Willimantic, CT on December 18, 1971. She was the daughter of Russell and Neva (Swenor) Gibbs, She grew up in the Brandon area where she received her early education and graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class 1989. She has been employed by Mountain Top Resort for several years. She enjoyed fishing and puzzles. Her family was her life.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Jordain Gibbs, Harmony West and Alexis West all of Benson, 1 brother; Theron Gibbs of Rutland and a sister; Patricia Duby of Fair Haven. 3 grandchildren, a nephew & 2 nieces also survive her.

Respecting her wishes all funeral ceremonies will be private.
