Michael Isaac Guess

Michael Isaac Guess, age 28, died March 15, 2026, in Orwell, from injuries sustained in a one car automobile accident.

Michael was born in Rutland on September 7, 1997. He was the son of the late Kenneth Guess and Kelly (Merrill) Guess. He grew up in the Castleton and Brandon area, and graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 2016. He began his working years at Vallencourt Tree Service, for several years. He had more recently been employed by Nick Coolidge Landscaping Service in Brandon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved going to the beach in York, ME.

He is survived by his mother and Step-Father; Kelly and Gary Atwood of Brandon, 2 brothers Troy Atwood of Jeffersonville, VT, and Ryan Atwood of Leicester and one sister; Kayla Bailey of Cambridge, VT. Several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him.

A gathering, “In Celebration of His Life” will be held, at a later date, time and location to be announced.
