Megan Marie Amoroso, 37, of Brandon, Vermont, went to rest peacefully on August 9, 2025, after spending her last moments surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 5, 1988, in Randolph, VT, Megan brought light, smiles and a few worry lines to all who knew her. She had a radiant smile that could outshine the sun and always lived by her own rules. Megan lived out loud, was unapologetically true to herself and captured the heart of anyone who was lucky enough to know the true Megan. She had a heart as big as her love for life and cared for all things living, including her plants and animals. But she loved nothing as much as she loved her children and family, the source of her deepest pride and joy.
Megan was a devoted mother to her four beloved sons - Timmy Laframboise, Angelo Amoroso III, Brady Amoroso, and Kingston Amoroso. She was the cherished daughter of Nancy and James Briggs, and an adored sister to Allison and Chris Magliola and Cynthia Briggs. She was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Angelo, AJ, Amoroso Jr. Megan's memory will also live on through the love of her biological family, including her mother Jody Mitchell and stepfather Izzy Mitchell, her father Byron Peters, her grandmother Judy Jacques and grandfather Larry Jacques, her aunt Tammy Hotte and uncle Leo Hotte, her aunt April Wooden, and her uncle BJ. Megan was also treasured by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who all meant the world to her.
Megan faced many struggles throughout her time. Her resilience and strength in facing challenges was a true inspiration. She embraced every moment, living life to the fullest and encouraging others to do the same. Her warmth, strength, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered forever.
We love you Meg and you will be dearly missed by all whose lives you touched.
A private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
