Linda Jean (Schamber) Healy

BRANDON: Linda Jean Healy, age 72, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Linda was born in Parkers Prairie, MN, on February 5, 1950. She was the daughter of Alvin and Lucille (Thun) Schamber. She grew up in Parkers Prairie, MN where she received her education and graduated from Parkers Prairie high school, class of 1968. She received her RN in 1971 from St. Barnabas School of Nursing in Minneapolis, MS.  She married Brian M. Healy in Reno, NV on March 25, 1978 and they made their home in San Francisco, CA until moving to Brandon in 1999. She had owned and operated; 12 Franklin Street Bed and Breakfast from 2002 until 2022 She was employed at Addison County Home Health and Hospice and Mountain View Center until retiring from nursing in 2017. She had also worked at Gourmet Provence in Brandon until 2020. She is survived by her brother; Jim Schamber of Brandon, and 4 nieces; Tracy (Jamie) Schutt of Gilbert, AZ, Mandy (Rich) Couture of Las Vegas, NV, Kate Hogan of Albany, NY and Karrie (David) Bem of Foxfield, CO. A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Bethel Lutheran Church, 22 Brook St, Morris, MN 56567 or to Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Rd. Pittsford, VT 05763. Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral home in Brandon.
