MIDDLEBURY:
Linda Lorraine Gale, age 74, passed away October 29, 2021, in Deltona, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Middlebury on September 16, 1947. She was the daughter of Kenneth “Red” and Teresa (Sullivan) Forrest. She grew up in Middlebury where she received her education in local and St. Mary’s Catholic School. March 4, 1977, she married Bernard “Pete” Gale in Middlebury. “Pete” predeceased her January 24, 2019. She had worked for many years as a waitress and retired from the Middlebury Inn. Linda was caring and humble. She loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.
Surviving is her daughter; Kimberly Berthiaume & her husband Samuel of Middlebury, 2 sons; Brenton Gale (Karen Trombley) and Jody Gale (Stephanie) both of Hubbardton and one sister; Nancy Kane of Orange City, FL. 3 grandchildren Taelor and Joshua Gale and Colby Berthiaume also survive her.
Linda wished to have no funeral or gathering. She was placed to rest at the family lot, in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
