BRANDON:

Lillian Elaine Brown, age 83, passed away, Monday, May 3, 2021, in Tunica, MS.

Mrs. Brown was born in Irasburg, VT on October 22, 1937. She was the daughter of Maurice and Lois (Magoon) Barry. She grew up in Orleans where she received her early education. She graduated from Bellows Falls High School, class 1956. In her earlier years she had worked at Robertson Paper Company in Bellows Falls. October 12, 1957, she married Clifford Henry Brown, Jr. The later made their home in Clarendon, where she worked for Metro Mail for several years and later at Tampax Corp. They moved to Sneads Ferry, NC for several years, before moving to Brandon. Mr. Brown predeceased her August 26, 2011. She enjoyed knitting, fishing, NASCAR and was a former hunter. She loved family gatherings.

She is survived by; 2 daughters; Debbie Perry of Brandon and Louise Atwood of Proctor, 2 sons; Clifford Brown III, of Sneads Ferry, NC and Joe Brown of Tunica, MS, a brother; Robert Barry of Kittery, ME and 1 sister; Beverly Chapdelaine of Browington, VT. 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was also predeceased by a daughter; Linda Sherman, a son; Clifford “Skip” Brown, 2 brothers; Dean Barry and Lloyd Barry and 3 sisters; Lucia Little, Jennette Carr and Jacqueline Barry.

The graveside committal service and burial will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 10 AM, at East Clarendon Cemetery.

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Brandon Area Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Brandon, VT 05733.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
