Joseph Napoleon Shackett, Jr.

Joseph Napoleon Shackett, Jr, age58, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Joe was born in Middlebury on July 16, 1964. He was the son of Joseph and Mary (Bougor) Shackett, Sr. he grew up in Brandon and Middlebury where he received his education. He had worked as a Stone Mason and Bricklayer with his father for over 30 years. He enjoyed cooking, yard sales, and auctions.

Surviving is his wife; Janice Marie Shackett; whom he married in Brandon on December 10, 1995, 4 sons; Daryle Stone, Joseph Shackett, III, Nathan Doyle and Dylan Shackett, 1 daughter; Monica Doyle, 3 brothers; Richard, Edward, and Bernard Shackett a 1 sister; Kathy Shackett. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Michael Shackett, and a sister Beborah Shackett.

Respecting his wishes there will not be a formal funeral service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
