RUTLAND:
Joseph Earl Fredette, age 54, passed peacefully August 20, 2024, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Joe was born in Rutland on November 10, 1969. He was the son of James and Paticia (Prescott) Fredette. He grew up in Rutland where he received his education in local schools. He began his working career in the building and construction business. He had worked for many years as a stucco worker. He was forced to retire in 2005, because of a stroke. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his uncle Ron.
He is survived by his mother; Paticia Fredette of Rutland, 2 daughters; Kayla Fredette of Rutland and Kasey Fredette of Benson, 2 sons; Alex Fredette of Benson and Ryan Fredette of Burlington, a sister; Tammy Knox of Rutland, 2 brothers; Paul Fredette and Zachary Fredette both of Rutland, his wife; Felicia Zobel of Rutland, 3 stepchildren; Nicole Zobel of Middletown Springs, Heather Allen of Newport, and Shannon Zobel of Shrewsbury. 6 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him.
A private gathering “In Celebration of His Life” will take place, at a later date.
