Gordon Albert Lear, Jr.

Gordon Albert Lear, Jr, age 63 passed peacefully October 19, 2025 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Gordon was born in Rutland on September 14, 1962. He was the son of Judith Geno and Gordon Lear, Sr. He has been a Brandon resident since 1980’s, moving here from Chittenden. Gordon was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He worked for Naylor & Breen, Dave Mott Construction and Lanpher Construction. He was forced to retire due to health issues in 2021.

He is survived by his wife; Terry Lee Lear, his children; Gordon Lear III, Shanda Corey, Trevor Lear, and Dylan Lear, 2 sisters; Brenda and Fawn and 6 brothers; Shawn, Shane, Paul, Howard, Greg, and Rob. Several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Daniel.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon on Saturday, October 25, from 2-4 PM.
