Gloria Goyette Obituary

POULTNEY:

Gloria Ruth Goyette, age 91, passed peacefully, on October 9, 2024; with family by her side; at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

 

Gloria was born in Bridport on August 5, 1933. She was the daughter of Carl and Susan (Spaulding) Fuller. She grew up in the Whiting-Shoreham area where she received her education. August 12, 1951, she married Lloyd R. Goyette in the methodist church in Brandon. She has been a resident of Poultney since 1998 moving here from Castleton. She had been an adult care-provider for many years, at her home in Poultney. She enjoyed playing cards and loved animals. Her family was her life.

 

Surviving is 2 sons; Lloyd F. Goyette and his wife Cindy of Hampton, NY, and Heath C. Goyette and his wife Marcy of Castleton and a brother; Fred Fuller of Hubbardton. 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her husband, a brother; Carl Fuller, and 2 sisters; Marion Gosselin and Florence Waite.

 

The graveside committal service and burial will take place, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 12:00 Noon in the family lot, at Hillside Cemetery in Castleton. a "Celebration of Her Life" will follow the graveside service at the Bomoseen Grange Hall.

 

Friends may call pay their respects, at the Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven on Saturday, October 19, from 10 AM until 11:30 AM.

 

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, VT 05763.
