Ginette Milot, age 82, passed away June 8, 2025, at Granville Center in Granville, NY.
Ginette was born in St. Germaine, Quebec, Canada, on June 15, 1942. She was the daughter of Rosario and Juliette (Gagnon) Bellavance. Her father passed away when she was 6 years old. The family migrated to the United States in 1962. Making their home in Fitchburg, MA, where Ginette was naturalized as a U.S. citizen. She graduated from Leominster High School, and began her working career as a seamstress at a Van Heusen factory in Leominster. She later worked as a secretary at the GenRad Corporation in Concord, MA. From 1989-1990 she worked, as a baker, with ARAMARK food service at Castleton University. June 17, 1991, she married Norman Milot, at St. Mary’s Church in Brandon. She and her husband owned and operated Rosebelles Victorian Inn in Brandon. She retired in 2016.
She is survived by her husband; Norman Milot, a son; Carl Schmidt, 2 grandchildren; Annalee and Carl, 2 sisters; Clair Demarest and Lorraine Leger, 2 brothers; Marcel Gagne and Roger Gagne. Many nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her.
Respecting her wishes all funeral services will be private.
The graveside committal service and burial will take place in, St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton, MA, at a later date.
