Elaine Marie (Dukette) McLaren

SALISBURY:

Elaine Marie McLaren, age 74, passed peacefully June 16, 2026 at Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury.

Elaine was born in Middlebury on May 30, 1952. She was the daughter of Leonard and Lena (Clark) Dukette. She grew up in Salisbury where she received her early education and attended Middlebury Union High School. Elaine had worked as an aide at Brandon Training School. She enjoyed playing cards, going to Project Independence. She was an avid bird watcher and loved music.

She is survived by her very important nephew; Bobby Cameron and his wife Jan of Worcester, VT, a sister; Diane Euber of Rutland. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and God Children also survive her. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Kenneth Dukette, two sisters; Barbara Delahant and Bertha Counter.

The graveside committal service and burial will take place, on July 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM, in the family lot, at Holman Cemetery in Salisbury. Following the ceremony, the family will receive friends, at the home of Ray and Candy Counter, for a time of remembrance.
