Doris May (Minkler) Reed

Doris May Reed, age 96, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury.

Doris was born in Rochester on July 19, 1926. She was the daughter of Robert and Lulu Minkler. She grew up in Rochester where she received her education.  She had worked for many years, as a supervisor at Nexus Corporation in Brandon.

She is survived by 2 sons; Lester French of Ledyard, CT and Ralph French of Leicester, one daughter; Nancy Fox of Stonington, CT. 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her first husband; Levi French and her second husband; Raymond Reed, Sr, a son; Chester French and 2 sisters; Arlene Forbes and Roberta Brown and 2 brothers; Lester Minkler and Wesley Minkler.

A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date in South Village Cemetery in Westmoreland, NH.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
