Craig Stephen Disorda, 50 passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Craig was born on July 28, 1975 in Middlebury, VT the son of Reginald A. and Margaret “Peg” (Barnes) Disorda. He grew up in Brandon where he received his education. He enjoyed working at Birch Hill Orchard. He worked in the construction and excavation business, having worked for Markowski Excavation Co. for over 17 years. He also worked for, Ed Lowell Landscaping. Craig loved hunting, fishing and riding his 4x4 Can Am. He loved his dogs Shelby and Capone, and his cat, Mary Jane.
He is survived by his parents, Reg and Peg, and his brother, Timothy “Willy” Disorda & his wife Ethel. His nephew, Randy Disorda & his wife Erin. His niece, Ashleigh Capek-Disorda. His great nephews Kayden & Oliver. Also, many, many cousins! Also, caretakers Kathy Anderson who spent the whole time with him and Karla Rantanen. He was predeceased by his brother Reginald.
A Gathering “In Celebration of His Life” will be held, on July 9, 2026, from 2-4 PM, at Brandon American Legion.
A private graveside committal services and burial will take place, on July 28, 2026, in the family lot, at Forest Dale Cemetery.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to; Homeward Bound, Addison County Humane Society, 236 Boardman Street, Middlebury, 05753 or to Brandon Area Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Brandon, VT 05733.
