Cheryl Lynn Barrows

PITTSFORD:

Cheryl Lynn Barrows, age 56, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Middlebury on January 13, 1965, the daughter of William and Barbara (Dragon) Barrows. She grew up in Salisbury where she received her early education and graduated from Middlebury Union High School, class 1983. She had worked as a nurses aide at Shard Villa for several years and then began private duty.  She loved animals, birds, her cats and dogs.

She is survived by her son; Ethan Newton of Pittsford, 3 daughters; Marci Newton of Rutland, Megan Newton of Pittsford and Erica Fitzgerald also of Pittsford, 2 brothers; Rahel Barrows of St. Albans and Bryan Humiston of Burlington. 10 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by two sons; Nathan and Eric.

A gathering “In Celebration of Her Life” will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
