Caroline Louise (Rovengo) Denis

Caroline Louise Denis, age 95, passed away June 16, 2026, at The Pines in Rutland.

Louise was born in Leicester on June 16, 1931. She was the daughter of John Floyd Rovegno and Mary Johnson Rovegno Fonda. She grew up in Leicester where she received her early education and graduated from Brandon High School, class of 1949. She worked for a short while as a teller at the Brandon Bank. On December 27, 1952, she married Raymond Roger Denis in Brandon. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and family gatherings.

She is survived by her son; Neil Denis of Warren and one daughter; Jay Denis, and a granddaughter; Margaret Smithson; along with many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Denis, her son Thomas Denis and her daughter Ann Denis.

Respecting her wishes a private “Celebration of Her Life” will take place at a later date.
