Cale Quenneville, SR. Obituary

BRANDON:

Cale Quenneville Sr., 55, of Brandon, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2025, at his family home on Quenneville Drive. Born April 19, 1970, he was the son of Vincent Quenneville and Barbara (Mitchell) Quenneville.

Cale was a devoted husband and proud father whose laugh, generosity, and steady presence filled every room. He is survived by his wife, Jody Quenneville; whom he married on June 25, 1994 his children, Bobby Jo Quenneville (partner Joshua Rollins), Cale Quenneville Jr. (partner Victoria Racine), and Sierra Quenneville (partner Colby Hutchins), Abigail Blackmere; his brother, Vince Quenneville and his two daughters Alexis and Madison Quenneville; his sister, Kimberly Quenneville; and his mother, Barbara (Mitchell)Quenneville. He also leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren — Bentley, Jordon, Bryelle, Lucas, Hunter, Paisley, Everleigh, Brealynn, and Cloe — along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Vincent Quenneville.

For many years Cale worked at Florence Crushed Stone, where coworkers respected him for his reliability and willingness to help anyone. He took pride in providing for his family and found satisfaction in honest, hard work.

Cale’s greatest joy was his family. He loved big noisy gatherings, holiday meals, and being an active part of his grandchildren’s lives. He also enjoyed wheeling and dirt track racing, nights out at the casino with his wife, and a cold Captain and Coke in hand. Friends and family remember him for stubborn optimism in hard times. How he handled failure or loss — grace, stubbornness, humor— fixing cars and teaching his grandsons how to drive anything with wheels and most importantly, supporting his favorite football team, Dallas Cowboys.

He will be remembered for his fierce loyalty, warm humor, and the way he showed love through actions.

In the meantime, friends and loved ones are invited to honor Cale by sharing a memory, raising a glass in his name, or gathering where he was happiest — at the track, the dinner table, and with family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 10, 2026, at Our Lady of Good Help (St. Mary’s) Catholic Church, in Brandon. Rev. Maurice Moreau, pastor will be the celebrant.

Following the mass, the family will receive friends at Brandon American Legion Post #55, for a gathering “In Celebration of His Life” .A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
