FOREST DALE:
Frances “Fran” Luther, age 66, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at her home in Forest Dale.
Mrs. Luther was born in Rutland on March 23, 1954. She was the daughter of Claire Bragg. She grew up in Rutland where she received her early education and graduated from Rutland High School, class 1974. Following graduation, she began working at Foley’s in Rutland and later became a dietician at Eden Park Nursing Home. She married Rodney Ford Luther on June 25, 1977 in St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rutland. They made their home in Forest Dale where they raised their family. She had worked as a Floor Supervisor at Tucel Industries in Forest Dale for over 30 years, retiring in 2016. In earlier years she had been a volunteer for the Brandon Area Rescue Squad. She enjoyed skiing, swimming and snowmobiling. She loved to shop.
Surviving is her husband; Rodney F. Luther, 2 daughters; Jayne M. Luther and Kelly L. Luther, a sister; Joanne Black and 1 brother; Daniel Bragg. 3 granddaughters, a grandson and several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by a brother; Otis Bragg.
A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Brandon. The Rev. Maurice Moreau, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brandon will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
