SHOREHAM:
Dean Hill Stanley, age 82, died Friday, February 12, 2021, at his home in Shoreham.
Dean was born in Barton, VT on March 22, 1938. He was the of Rosco and Clara (Hill) Stanley. He grew up in Shoreham where he received his early education and graduated from Newton Academy class 1956. He has been a truck driver most of his life. He had also worked as a millhand for Eastern States Farmers Exchange, but later drove truck for Agway. He retired from Agway in 1998 following more than 42 years of service. He was a member and past master of the Shoreham Masonic Lodge and now belonged to Morning Star Masonic Lodge. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by 2 sons; Kevin Dean Stanley and Scott William Stanley both of Shoreham. Several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him, as well as his former wife and mother of his children; Arlene (Doane) Stanley of Shoreham. He was predeceased by a brother; Dennis Stanley.
Respecting his wishes there will not be a public funeral service.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to; A charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
