BRANDON:

Amber Lynne Hallock, age 33, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, at her home in Brandon.

Amber was born in Middlebury on September 23, 1986. She was the daughter of Lisa Longland and Kevin Hallock. She grew up in Vergennes where she received her early education and graduated from Mt. Abe High School, class 2004. In her earlier years she had worked, as a waitress at Roland’s Place in New Haven. She most recently worked as a caregiver, which came so naturally to her. She was an avid reader and loved to continue learning in her spare time. She was very compassionate and loved animals with all her heart, if she could have adopted them all, she would've! She was very creative and good at expressing herself through her artwork and writing! She had a beautiful energy and amazing soul. She could always make people laugh and bring them up when they were down. Her heart was huge and she would do anything she could for others, despite whatever she may have had going on in her own life! She will be dearly missed my many.

She is survived by her mother; Lisa Lee Longland of Florence, her sister; Sienna Hallock of Winooski, friend Frances McDowell of Weybridge, and friend; Joe Forziati of Brandon.

Respecting her wishes the funeral service will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.

My heart broke to hear of Amber’s passing. Far to soon to lose her light in this world. I worked with Amber for awhile and she always made her coworkers smile with her lovely sense of humor. I offer my most heartfelt condolences to her mum and sister. She will be sorely missed.

I was so heartbroken when I learned of Ambers passing. She had the sweetest soul and such positive energy. She was great with the elderly. I used to work with her as a caregiver and every week on her days off she would come in and play bingo with everyone. Everyone loved her so much.
