Barbara Ann Fisher, age 86, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.


Mrs. Fisher was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 8, 1933. She was the daughter of Louis and Bonnelyn (Lower) Mayotte. She grew up in Providence where she received her education. She has been a resident of Brandon, for over 40 years. In her earlier years she had owned and operated Barb’s Place Restaurant in Brandon. She later worked for several years at a local printing company in Rutland. She was a member of Brandon American legion Ladies Auxiliary Unite 55.


She is survived by 6 sons; Ronald Rider of Springfield, Thomas Rider of Brandon, Stephen Rider of Rutland, David Rider of Oregon and Leonard Kutteroff of Hartford, CT and 1 daughter; Sandra Dyson of Iowa. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her first husband; Birdie Rider, her second husband; Lester Green and her third husband; Herb Fisher, Sr.


A private graveside committal service and burial will taker place, at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
