Adam Michael Harrison, age 35, died Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Rutland Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.


Adam was born in Middlebury on May 12, 1984. He was the son of Michael and Melissa (Parker) Harrison. He grew up in Brandon where he received his early education and graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 2002. Following graduation, he began his working career with New England Woodcraft. He served in many capacities including; machine operator and eventually became a cad operator, as well as a computer programmer writing for CNC Routers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a past member of the Brandon Fire Department, where he had served as president of the Dunmore Hose Company. He enjoyed yard sales and spending time at the family camp. He was a connoisseur collector of many things, and loved all Star Wars movies.


He is survived by his wife; Kristen Harrison; whom he married February 21, 2019, and two sons;  Booker Adam Harrison and Shepard Michael Harrison all of Brandon, his sister; Jessica Lynn Harrison, his parents Michael and Melissa Harrison and paternal grandmother; Carol Parker all of Brandon, a niece; Harper Harrison and 2 nephews; Carter Hart and Daniel Dragon. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather.


A gathering to acknowledge his life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 12 noon, at the Brandon American legion Post #55. Following the ceremony, the family will receive friends “In A Celebration of His Life” until 3 PM.


Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to; The Adam Harrison Memorial Fund, for the benefit of his sons, c/o Wendy Bizzarro, Heritage Family Credit Union, Seminary Street, Brandon, VT 05733.


Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
