Jessica Jane Mallory, age 39, died Monday, April 1, 2019, at her home in Leicester.

 

Ms. Mallory was born in Middlebury on April 28, 1979. She was the daughter of Eric and Brenda (Brown) Mallory. She grew up in Forest Dale where she received her early education at Neshobe School. She attended Otter Valley Union High School, where she played basketball and softball. She graduated from Proctor High School where she had also played softball. Following graduation, she worked at Haven Health Care in Rutland; where she earned her L.N.A.; for over 11 years. She was forced to retire due to a disability in 2007. She enjoyed basketball, watching the Little League World Series, fishing, spending time with her family and her dogs.

 

Surviving is her parents; Eric and Brenda Mallory of Forest Dale, her brother Matthew E. Mallory and his wife Jennifer of Brandon, Paternal Grandfather; John Mallory and his companion, Sharon Perry, Paternal Grandmother; June Santorufo and her husband Joseph of Wallington, Maternal Grandmother; Janet Thomas and her husband Adrien of Morganton, NC, and her nephews; Austin, Emmett and Jasper Mallory. Many aunt’s, uncles’ and cousins also survive her.

 

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family in a “Celebration of Life” which will take place on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 1-3 PM, at the Brandon American Legion Post #55.

 

A private graveside committal service and burial will take place, at a later date, in the family lot, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon.

 

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Addison County Counseling Service, 89 Main Street, Middlebury, VT 05753.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
