Linda Irene Cram, age 63, died Friday, February 15, 2019, at her home in Poultney.

 

Mrs. Cram was born in Granville, NY on September 25, 1955. She was the daughter of Elsie Winchell and Gerald Monroe. She grew up in Granville where she received her early education. September 24, 1983 she married Steven Charles Cram in Fair Haven. The made their home in Poultney. Mrs. Cram had worked as an aide at Misty Heather Morn in Hydeville for more than 13 years. She retired in 2018 after finding out that her husband had cancer. She was his care provider until his death in June 2018. She enjoyed fishing, yard sales, bingo and going to the casino. Her family was her life.

 

Surviving are 2 sons; Todd Edward Cram of Poultney who was also her care provider and Brian James Cram of Rutland and her daughter; Tonya Kopysciaski of Stockbridge, 3 sisters; Norma Smith of Fair Haven, Ellen Stone of Granville, NY and Pam Rodriquez of Clinton, NC, 5 brothers; Arthur W. Stone of Granville, NY, Jerry Winchell of Fair Haven, Richard Stone and Arthur L. Stone both of West Rutland and John J. Desabrais of Fair Haven. 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. She was predeceased by her mother; Elsie Stone and step-father; Arthur L. Stone, Sr and 3 sisters; Rose Cram, Dora Stone and Barbara Hildreth.

 

The memorial service “In Celebration of Her Life” will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 12 Noon, at the Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until service time at 12 noon.

 

Following the ceremony, the family will receive friends at the Poultney American Legion Post #39, for a time of remembrance, beginning at 1 PM.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven.
